Last year, Bear & Burton held their 1st Annual Key West Invitational, which brought out hundreds of grilling enthusiasts while raising tens of thousands of dollars for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Held at Ocean’s Edge in Key West, Bear & Burton’s Key West Invitational is a celebration of the Florida Keys and world class BBQ benefitting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation in Tampa, FL, which supports the fight against childhood cancer.
To help raise donations for this incredible cause, teams compete in a fun packed 3-day, 3-leg tournament consisting of fishing, lobster diving, and a mini-BBQ competition.
This highly anticipated annual event is proudly sponsored by Big Green Egg. As a Big Green Egg distributor, Palm Coast Sales was honored to support this event by providing Big Green Eggs for the BBQ competition and bringing Team Green’s cooking team into the mix.
On the 2-hour pontoon ride to Ocean’s Edge and 7 miles offshore, there was a waterspout right before our team and the EGGs safely arrived. Not to worry, no one was affected and the day cleared up, making for the perfect conditions for a grilling competition!

All in all, with over 65 Million Views, 200 Million Impressions, and tens of thousands of dollars donated to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation in 2023 -2024 was even better!
